Why are my photos displaying sideways?

Many cameras and phones save rotation information in EXIF data rather than rotating the actual pixels. Some platforms ignore this data. Our rotate tool physically rotates the pixels so the image displays correctly everywhere.

Does rotating change the image quality?

No. Rotation at 90° increments is lossless — no quality is lost.

Can I rotate to any angle, not just 90°?

Currently our tool rotates in 90° steps. For precise angle rotation, use a desktop image editor.

What is the difference between flip and rotate?

Rotate turns the image clockwise or counter-clockwise. Flip creates a mirror image — horizontal flip swaps left and right, vertical flip swaps top and bottom.

Can I rotate a PNG with transparent background?

Yes. PNG transparency is preserved during rotation.
